ECO1000 Series Conventional Detectors
ECO1000 is a range of photoelectric smoke detectors with an array of advanced features using the latest manufacturing technology with a low profile design and low current draw, and with automatic drift compensation. Operates on 12V and 24V DC systems. A laser-based hand-held remote test unit can be used in conjunction with the range of ECO1000 detectors for alarm test purposes. The unit transmits a coded message, preventing spurious alarms being generated by other laser based devices. With a range of several meters, the hand-held test unit removes the need for any direct physical access to the detector by the user. The range also has an integral LED which illuminates to provide a local alarm signal. This latches on, and remains illuminated until the detector is reset by a momentary power interruption. An optional remote LED annunciator may be used to repeat any alarm signal. With extended warranty. Has approval to EN54 - 7:2000 (Amendment 1) and EN54 - 5:2000 (Amendment 1) Class A1R; CEA 4021.

ECO1005 Thermal Fire Detector
The thermal fire detector uses a state of the art thermal element combined with an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) to provide quick and accurate detection of fires. The detector incorporates both rate of rise and static elements and is suitable for all areas where the ambient conditions do not normally exhibit rapid changes in temperature.

ECO100RL Plug-In Detector Base - Latching

A variety of detector bases can be used with the ECO1000 detector range. All bases are fitted with a shorting spring to permit circuit testing prior to fitting the detector and have a tamper resistant feature which, when activated prevents removal of the detector without use of a tool. The alarm condition can only be terminated by removal of the supply to the detector and base.

  • The plug in detector base is used with the System Sensor range of detector heads
  • The capability of plugging these detectors into a variety of special bases makes them more versatile than equivalent direct-wired models
  • Suits 2 & 4-wire systems
  • Acepts photo, ion and heat detectors
  • Non-latching or latching versions with change over contacts available
  • Tamper resistant base
